A fragment from my day: 

Officer: Excuse me sir, you need a permit to shoot with a tripod. 

Me: Okay, where do I get a permit?

Officer: Downstairs, take that elevator. Thanks for being cool about this. 

Me: All good, just doing your job.

Me: Hi, I need a permit to use a tripod?
